Meet Lisa & Kerry
The Yoga Being is inside all of us. Our role is to support you to embody this through our regular yoga, 1:1’s, retreats, and wellness events.
My life hasn’t been as easy and breezy as I may look in this photo, but I can most certainly say that I’ve been gifted with some of the most challenging but incredible experiences that have fuelled me to try and make this World a better place, person by person, class by class.
I founded The Yoga Being over a decade ago and ran my own yoga studio in Hampshire for over 6 years.
I’ve studied and evolved as a Yoga Teacher, Yoga Therapist, Holistic Practitioner training far and wide from Thailand, Portugal, Canada and here in the UK.
I am qualified in Hatha, Elemental Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Pre/Post Antenatal Yoga, Yoga for the Special Child, Children’s Yoga and fully accredited in Transformational Coaching.
I’m a mother, wife, carer, business owner, and a deeply passionate Human Being who wants to help other Human Beings to achieve their greatest potential, regardless of what life throws at them.
From a spiritual perspective, my sessions support you to practice acceptance, access inner peace, and tap into our own inner guidance.
Hi I’m Lisa, and I am really glad you are here! I am a Yoga Teacher, Yoga Therapist and Wellness coach based in Southern England.
My life story reflects the ongoing quest for a harmonious balance between personal and professional life … motherhood has been my most challenging role of all, and most rewarding too.
With 20 years’ experience working in the commercial world, I have worked as a Personal Assistant and Project Manager, meticulously organising and planning various aspects of my professional life.
In 2012 my husband and I embarked on a transformative entrepreneurial adventure together, that led to the creation of a multimillion-pound business. From my dedicated career as a Project Manager, to my journey as a successful entrepreneur and a devoted mother, I have consistently demonstrated a commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others.
Seven years ago, a new chapter in life began as I embraced the role of a mother. My journey into parenthood involved the use of IVF, a testament to my determination and resilience. The decision to step back from my career to be a dedicated and loving mother showcases my deep commitment to family and my desire to find the elusive balance between work and home life. Seven years on, and I can honestly say that motherhood has been my most challenging role of all, but I wouldn’t swap it for the world.
My co-founding of The Yoga Being Retreats is not only a reflection of my own journey but also an opportunity for others to recognise the importance of self-care in family life, and work life, creating a legacy of well-being and balance. This endeavour allows me to share my experience and the value of work-life balance with others, promoting well-being and personal growth.
